james....real jew fishos would have grabbed there jewie rod and threw that baby on......yes it has jew wriiten all over it but not after you have frozen it.....its just like the other frozen squid that are going to be out on the river over the weekend....get with it mate frsh is best....live is better..........
happy fishing and im going to have that post up highlighted on sunday night saying 20+kg jew.....no old pics either buddy

mate i know but my boat is not up to scratch so live baiting is very much minimised due to the poor livie setup.
got a **** load of squid and not freezing em just keeping them chilled i find it keeps them white and green eyed.
they look spot on leave kens and ians for dead.

just a quick update for you guys that are interseted.....i talked to james last night while he was out there chasing those jewies and also talking to another mate this morning who was beside james this morning aswell and james still hasnt stepped it up yet....he doesnt have that 20+kg yet.....
come on james i wanna see a biggen by the end of the day....
havnt been real successful up here either....3 bream up to 30cm fork on fri....no squid at all for jew baits.....yesty decided to hit local breakwall for some tailor....untied jewie lure off me heavy spin rod and walked out 2 me spot......started spinning...no tailor...got into that cast n retrieve mode....when all hell broke loose at my feet and just caught a glimpse of a big fanned out yella tail slappin back into the suds.....my girl seen it and i said jew!!!!jew!!!jew!!!i through the 65grm raider into zone but nothn....recovering from that bout 10-15 mins later a 10-15kg jew launched clean out of the water 2 metres from my feet through a school of aggitated mullet, flipping over like a free jump'n lil black.....at this stage i lost it and just sat down in disbelief pondering if i should run back and grab me jew gear.....decided not 2 and tied on a reidys b52....all i had to come close to a jew lure and commenced casting....no success but the jew in 10-15kg class kept jumping like salmon every 10 mins.....on the old 1 last cast to the missus phrase i come up tight on a good fish only to have it strip 10 metres before spitt'n the lure....aagghh.....i didnt have a gaff anyways but the sarvo is a different story...im leavn soon with all the right gear for another crack.....surely tonights the night??????????keep ya posted.....also has any1 else seen/heard of this before???they wernt soapies/school fish either...i have spent alot of time on the water but never witnessed anything like that...truly amazing and reiterated the reason i go fishing......:icon_smile_big: :yahoo: :red party:
quick report on me jew hunt last night......zeros....there was still bait/mullet there but no hits on me river 2sea live baits....ah well....just watched wayno's vid and its time to bust out the bait i think.....yep spin till dark 2night then soak a live mullet/squid in the same zone....one things for sure i wont catch em at home listen'n to me bitchn missus....:hellyeah: :yahoo: time to :duel: one of these suckers....no longtails in sight either...no pelagic action at all except for them jew sat night.....
