Anybody Offshore Jigging Lately Off Sydney

Any offshore deep water jigger lately been of Sydney ? Whats on the catch front with anybody with this lately.

I've been trying to time manage a trip but with a sick family at present I can only wait until all settles down.

Forecast doesn't look inviting either.

Hey mate the last 2 weeks has been on fire for jigging all my japanese mates have been goin out and getting 15 to 20 kings a day fro 6 to 10kg mark...

Was out yesterday off Newport Reef, lots and lots of kingies, they especially liked big strips of slimie macs

You guys will have to get into something....conditions were almost perfect late this arvo for me off the rocks but unfortunately the fish I was after decided not to turn up.

Went out on Saturday. Caught only a 75 cm Kingie. Things were quite indeed. Water temp was down from two weeks ago to 21.1c.

I'll try again in two weeks.

where abouts did u get those kings flat rock...near the peak or wide near the 12mile?....

the peak mate,i went out on fri and we got 24 kings all from 60 to 68 cm then went out on sat to the peak and to our secret reef and we got 36 kings...sso in 2 days 60 kings but no decent ones....

na mate we went out in a 5.5 center console..there is no decent kings at all out there just good fun rats..my japanese mate went out with jim on sun and got 5 but on 60cm crap kings

also guys the kings have started to slow up a little round the shire and the gong still some mice (rats) around but if ya fish hard the odd big fella is still hanging around

I guess they will turn up soon and hopefully the next lot of pelagics might make some nice live baits for XOS kings.

Guys i hear the Jigging off terrigal is heating up a bit with some bigger fish caught in the last week... up to 24kg

btw Lee a mate went out Sunday to Peak/12mile etc and got heaps of kings.... maybe 30 or more, but all rats 60-70
Also i hear the jap sub that we r not allowed near is also chockas with rat kings..... Hope they put those exclusion area floating bouys up too, next year we'll have plenty dollies on them if they do....

Mate i was out driftin around last week and the big survey/ dive boat came past us with a camera boat in tow and they stopped right over the thing. Then i was out there today driftin around and they were back out again - think they're putting an underwater camera down to catch divers raiding it. Its about 5 miles due east of bungan head, in about 60m of water. No so far from the FAD off longy really.
