Launching Ramps

How's about those members who can use a digital camera and place the photos on this site taking shots of the ramps that they use together with "how to find" details and availability of parking?

Over time this could result in most of the ramps in Sydney and environs being displayed for the benefit of members.

Thats a great idea, i also want to put forward an idea, that we do a each species how to and where to? But it will be from information from every member willing to help out. We will then pick the best points and the repeated ones stressing these factors which will help other fishos to catch more fish. What do you guys think? Just want to get an idea of who would be willing to help? Tips from you guys should include, baits, rigs, SP's some proven spots around sydney and surrounding harbours, mon phase if it makes a difference, time of tide etc.

I do hope that both the ramp idea and your suggestion catches on, would be of great help to both new and old members of the Forum!

The quick response to this thread makes you realise just how much talent there is amongst members of the Forum and how helpfull people are. I guess that is a common trait of people who go fishing. Love it !!!

Both ideas are great.....I'm keen to contribute....Hey Haji maybe we could combine some eel fishing with our mullet expedition (my grandpa used to be quite good at catching them, I think I can remember a thing or two, he liked using steak or mullet strips for bait)

Allright so lets get those cameras out and do it! I will try to cover ramps in Port Hacking and Botany bay over the next few weeks and post them when finished.

whatever ramp i use next week ill take a photo of! it will be somewhere on the hawkesbury, and if i go past any others ive used before ill get dad to stop the boat so i can get a pic, no promises cause i tend to forget thigns like this!

Hey Haji, I can get some shots of the ones around the spots down Wollongong/Port Kembla I fish near.

if ya after a good boat ramp down around the gong try the ramp at port kembla we launch from some times not a bad ramp. i think the ramp is at the end of foreshore rd and its down near the break wall puts ya into some real good fishing grounds
