Went for a beach bash near narrabeen this morning. Got there at 6am after having a bit of a late start (caused by beers on Friday night...)
Got two sambos, 52 and 55 cms, on the first two casts of the day, using salted slimies. Got very excited when I saw some baitfish getting busted up on the surface just within casting range, but so did about 10 cormorants which seemed to very quickly put the fish down. Ah well, I was pleased to get a decent fight out of a fish again.
