Lads, put the RosieMary in at Clontarf at 07:00 and fished around the Spit till '9. Only managed 1 or 2 small snapper, and couldn't get any squid. Then motored up to Sugarloaf, for a few more snapper (to 29cm). Was very quiet and was about to pack it in, before heading across to Pickering. Couldn't believe the action - bonito, trevallys, bream, snapper, kingys galore. The bonito was 46cm but I thought pulled as hard as the King (55). Got busted off also by some big mother. All fish caught on frozen prawns/pillies and 6lb line. The action all happened around 11:00. Strange!

Great catch! Great photo's but Oh Man, looking at those fish I urgently have to finish the mods to my boat and get back on the water.

I'M GOING STIR CRAZY AND SUFFERING EXTENDED WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS!

I guess there is nothing for it but to do what I guess Kamil does, read Gibran and have a drink or three.

I think Haji has confused Kamil with the Cool clan.

Conditions were mighty tough indeed...it's hard not being at work!

Apologies Kamil, I seem to have confused you with the member who sometimes closes his posts with a quote from Kahlil Gibran, a Persian poet philosopher of great repute.

I have been going back over old posts to see who it is but have not been able to locate who posts the quotes. So put me out of my misery and fess up whoever it is.

And yeah Kamil, a lot of my reading is centred around fishing as well and has been for a long long time. On yah mate!
