the kings are going of at molineaux point saw at least 20 caught there today. only managed the one ourselves but lost 4 we were only fishing 4kg string but bloody good fun. found tailor and slimies in the middle of the bay but couldn't get them to take a lure even though the feeding aggressively may have been feeding on krill.

Was an awesome day to be out there Chris! How busy was it in the Bay? I drove down Foreshore Drive yesterday and counted upwards of 20 boats at Moulineux. Was it that busy today...or worse?

G/Day Joe
There were a lot of boats out there but not that bad many of them were heading outside there seemed to be a lot of boats out in front of the lighthouse. there is a stack of boaties out there that have no manners  screaming past you a flat strap and only a couple of boat lengths from you :x and I'm not even going to start on their ramp antics  but on a possitive note BUSTER1 got smoked bigtime over a molineaux point on 30kg braid & had his rod holder snap

The kings were thick in the harbour on Friday too, apart from all the boats keeping them deep for most of the time. I only landed 4 on spin gear, but I dropped about a dozen, that's what happens with 4lb line...

I also managed a couple of salmon on fly and my first frigate for the year. :D

There were heaps of schools on the surface on new years day, I wish I had a rod with me.
