2005 Goals Achieved?

So who achieved their fishing goals in 2005?


I finally managed a 50cm+ bass, which basically came from fishing the right areas.

I also managed to hit my soft-plastic caught jewfish target of 100 fish, and exceed it by 2 fish. (Unfortunately I didn't get my big one :( )

I also got my first beakie, even if it was only a small black on a charter boat.

Most of my other goals from last year will be carried over to this year.

So how'd everyone else fair?

Mine was met

All I wanted to do was get a boat

And I finally got one !!!!!

It only took about 2 years nagging

Well I still have not managed a king from my boat this summer, but I guess thats mainly due to the fact that i'm working 6 days most of the time :oops:

Will try to fix up that little problem asap.

Managed to catch my first Kingy and also my first legal Kingy which i was pretty stoked and a 38cm Bream on an sp.

Thank god 2006 is here 05 was a shocker with very limited success at all.

my goal was a marlin, managed to crank in 5 (Black, stripes and a blue!). But really need to do it all on my own boat for it to really hit home, but nevertheless it was an awesome learning curve.

got the king size i was after,now for an upgrade!

didn't crack the 10kg jew on plastic or bluefin off the rocks(not that i even tried.... sad) so those two go back on the list.
