I am coming to terms with the long term damage caused to my shoulders and have come to the conclusion that my old 25 hp tiller steer outboard will have to go so I am looking for some help.
I am thinking of getting a 25 hp electric start with tilt and trim does any one know if they available and how reliable are they.
no rush I am saving madly

My Tohatsu was originally a tiller steered with all the fruit. The option was called the Fisherman option. If you can source a Tohatsu with no controls, I have all the gear to make it tiller steered!
Mariner , Honda and I think Suzuki have those options too! The Honda doesn't have tilt and trim, but has what they call gas assist to help lift it!

Pete,
Narralakes has a 35hp 4 stroke Honda with tiller steer, electric start and tilt and trim and it is a real sweet piece of machinery. he can tell you more about it and the boat it pushes.

Thanks Joe and Bluecod,
your information now gives me something to look into. Thanks Joe for your offer I will keep it mind, as I said this is going to take a while my GP is suggesting it's a long recovery, so I will just have to pace myself.
My boat by the way is a 4.1 metre Quintrex and is rated at 25 hp.
Thanks Again

What's that you say ????
My former GP told me I'd be deaf by the time I was 50 - FA he knew as I'm well past that now and still have at least 50% hearing.

I know what you are saying but I think the Doc might be right this time, I am the sort of person that tries to hard and I come unstuck so I have to behave myself and listen to the advice I am given.
And of course this maybe the excuse I need to update my 1976 model motor.
Every dark cloud has a silver lining so they say.

In that case Pete, the Doc is always right! Hope that wing starts to come good soon
