I was just chattin about what to use for bass fishin,and the thought came up.can you catch Bream and flathead on them (spinnerbait) I supose Flathead will take anything,
what is your experience???????

Those spinnerbaits with the soft plastic lure would have to work?

Do we need to test this theory out?

I've never hooked a bream on a spinnerbait, I've had them hit it but never hook up. It's about the only style of lure I haven't managed to hook them on.

I'm sure flatties would be easy, especially with a stinger attached.

And if you havn't caught one well prob" nobody has !!!

More than likely too quick for them ??

They just don't hit them hard enough and their mouth isn't big enough for them to hook up well. They still have a taste of them though.

i have hooked bream on small betts spins fished slow with a light lift and drop, but only to add the species to my spinner bait list..eg i spent a few days just to get one...

flatties are a different story,fish the spinnerbait like you would any plastic eg lift and drop.

jews....well ill let ya know when i get one :)

He did it, not me. I think I picked up about 4 jews on plastics that night before he got his hook up.

Yeah, he was skipping it on the bottom but picking up a fair bit of line between each skip. It was one of the big squidgy ones.
