Conditions are looking good, just watch the surf it will be getting bigger after lunch time.
well left this morning at 7 got there at 8ish started fishing at 8:40am, was heaps windy, wind was so strong we couldn't stand in 1 spot lol..but yeh just went and had a try..really hard to cast a float rig out so yeh, waited for the wind to stop or slow down and fished bottom rig..nuffin at all..
then at around 9:20 the wind slowed down a bit and was able to cast the float out but had to keep the line in the water or else the wind just blows it right back..then at 10:15ish BOOM the float rod bends didn't have the drag on and i was eating, so i wasnt near the rod, by the time i saw the rod bending ran over got there the fish was gone!! lost it..
so put on a pillie and casted back out and went quiet for about 1 and a half hour. then the bottom rig and my dads float at the same time goes off he got his hooked on reeled half way then came off, mine just snapped off from a 30lb trace. was so angry. thats 2 fishes lost..then half an hour later caught 2 trevallys at the same time on bottom rig got excited thought it was something big felt heavy..this was like 4:30 5pm..wasn't much fish around and was heaps cold!! froze my self to death..so for the rest of the time from 5:15pm on wards we fished and fished caught nuffin but a few lil silver sweep..then my dad says just fin off the rest of the pillies and go home, there was only about 8left..so we fished the rest 10min later my dads float goes down he yanked it and caught a salmon, got it up this time, wasn't that big didn't measure its, it nearly came off too was only the treble hooked on the eye was lucky this time..then finished off the pillies and went home left at like 6ish waves was getting bigger too..scary
heres some pics enjoy..

Mate, your keen in that wind, it really was blowin this morning. Top spot you were at.......not fished hardly as often as the other one nearby.
The fish you lost, gotta hit them hard when you grab the rod then take it easy gettin them in....bloody salmon tricky little buggers to get in at times, I'v dropped heaps there.:hellyeah:
Well done!
