Hi all,
Walked down to the beach about 5.30pm on Saturday with Daz and claimed the best gutter. Had a swim with son and a beer. Waited till about 6.30 and fished till about 10.00pm.
Very quiet caught a smallish Taylor each 30cm as the sun was setting and a Bronze Whaler Shark about 6kg on Dusk. The shark was great fun as he was hooked in the Pectoral fin and put a great bend in my 8 wrap rod. With 15 kg line I had the whole beach watching as he ran up and down the beach with me in hot persuit. After about 20 minutes he was on shore dehooked and released with about 20 onlookers. Great fun!!!!
