Bit of an average day again, you didn't miss anything at stanwell Whytri-I tried two spots there for 0 bites. Moved to Hill 60 and caught a couple of sweep straight away then up came my live bait (see pic) dolphins cruised by a couple of times-no photos as the mobile phone camera is crap. Fed the pelicans the squished pillies. Really good weather, water looks great just no fish but was again my day of rest and relaxation.....
Last shot is one I found of Coalcliff beach from a while ago....nice waves there when the conditions are right.

Saw a little action round the squid a couple of times, guess whatever it was wasn't keen for my squiddly diddly. Hopefully will redeem myself this sunday, can't believe this bad run of fishing I'v been having at my spots.....Time to find some new ones

Hill 60 is a bit further south, same as going to port kembla breakwall but you keep going straight on military road, at the end turn left up the big hill, keep following it up and over the hill, parking is to the right of the council depot thing (do a search on port kembla here; http://www.whereis.com/whereis/home.do Couple of places to fish, best is to head down rocks straight in front of you go round the left towards the point where you can see the island....bit quiet there at the moment, spoke to a local guy he said quietest year ever.
From speaking to a guy at stanwell, he said there were salmon and other fish around when he was diving at Garie Beach and off the rocks there (need a national parks pass, not sure how much)...Would take round 1.5hrs to get there if coming from campbelltown way. Can get map from google earth.
Good luck.

Stef, the photo is decieving it was easy 6-8 foot with the occasional 10ft bombs coming through.....scored myself many heavy pits(got cleaned up by one huge set and decided to call it a day).....It was breaking so cleanly and the takeoff spot is so easy to get sorted, I'v surfed it from 3ft to 8+ and unlike many other reef breaks there is rarely a unpredictable section-everything just falls into place. If you know Forresters beach on the central coast this break is like a hollower version of Lefts there.:headbang:
What way do you go Maurice?
