Weather not looking friendly for outside fishing! Its starting to irritate me again!
Gonna have to start fishing the rivers again soon, maybe geta Mako amongst the Salmon schools?

Its Kamil, :banghead: thats the second time tonight!:noway: :rolling laughter:
i was talking about that the other day Maurice, with a friend, and dont know how they used to do it back in the day, no forecasts, nothing, and so many fish but. Imagine going back in a time machine but with all of todays reels and technologies, imagine how many more fish you would have been able to catch! If only.........

sorry about the name kamil
my father in law tells me these storys about going outside and catching
huge snapper and king fish were a pest but some of them old guys took to
many even now when i fish with him he wants to keep them all
Yeah Maurice, its not the same anymore. We all wish it could be but unfortunately its not! No harm in dreaming though.... hehe
I bet your relatives would have gotten so many fish and the sizes would have been ridiculous. 30kg Kings at the Peak, dont see that these days anymore. Maybe it will change. lol

Good luck James, hope you do us proud and get into some 20+ kg bombs.:headbang:
Maurice you are a classic....:_smack_:
And how can we forget Kamal, top voice mate....sing us a song at the meet????? :rolling laughter:
On the question bout years ago and weather reports for fishing My oldies used to call or be called by the local trawlers to find out if the weather and conditions would be good, they I gather used to get their reports from the coastguard services. Local newspapers in nowra then used to have a great fishing section that would detail where certain species were being caught, bait, tide's etc----very informative.

Yep, My pop tells me of how they had so many wooden bannana boxes full of snapper and huge flatties that they couldnt get the boat on the trailer. They had to pull up to a pontoon and get some young fellas to help them unload. I show him some of my pics and he is still disgusted that I let em go!!! I call him blitzcreig, dont know about the spelling but I sure know the meaning. Look it up!!!:noway:
Heading down to my place at Ulladulla tomorrow, have to do a fair bit of work there but will try to wet a line AM Sunday, might also try to get some decent pics of the area including some of the better drummer spots (just for you Bass)
