Y'Fin..

Went offshore again Sat. Waters offshore off broken bay suprisingly good at the moment, no hard temp breaks but found some nice 18.5-18.8 degree water just off the shelf.
Trolled out from about 10 miles before the shelf through a few nice looking current lines etc for zeros.
Pulled in skirts bout 11.00, Put out livies and baits, and started the cubin,
and cubin, and cubin, and cubin......
There has got to be an auto cubing machine available from somewhere...
Anyway gettin sleepy by 2.30, still no fin.
Least it was a nice day out wide, Blue water, 5knts wind and 1m swell.
3.30 still no fin, but chocs last report is ringing in my ears.

Only a small fish bout 15kg or something, but at least t'was a 'fin.
Finally..... This year has been a bit up and down nothing like last year...
Anyway we kept the trail going for another hour and had another run which didnt hook up properly before headin for home a little happier than previous trips..... :wiink:

Thanks guys, it was pretty wicked out there, heaps of whales including some killers cruised by. They have the most massive dorsal fin. there were plenty of dolphins closer in balling up bait on the surface and some bird action around it.
Netic, looking at the water i reckon now is as good a time as any out there, ill be going again soon 4 sure!!
Heres a pic anyway i should have some more to put up soon when i get them emailed. I didnt weigh it, 15kg is just a guess.

Seems nomatter what your targeting things have been a little thin this month. Well done mate at least ya diddn't have to cast all that time for 1 cos thats what its been like on the lighter side of things lately.
