Hi guys,

I am going to Leura for the weekend.

Anywhere good to fish around there?

Any help would be appreciated.

The occasional Trout can be caught at Wentworth Falls Lake.

If you do not want to travel far from Leura then Wentworth falls lake would be your best bet however it has been very quiet up there lately. We usually fish it from the shore over near the over flow wall to the right of the carpark, under the trees in the shadows. The best time was as the sun is going down using hard bodied surface lures.
If you want to go further west there are some good lakes near Lithgo. Have a look for some maps on the net or call in at the Tourist information center located on the left of the highway as you enter Glenbrook.

Same as the tourist office told me. Unfortunately trout fishing is closed until October,.... which I forgot.
