Fishinf, Fish Boy and Storms

Hey guy's....I was lucky enough to get a spot on Maurice's boat for a fish with himself and his son today.

We left just after 5, headed to bellambi and got stuck in!

First spot got into a few trevalley and one Morwong....Fish boy was happily showing Maurice and I how to catch fish...Had a few drifts, picked up a few more fish and left the water at around 1....Top day, I funally caught some good fish and a huge thanks to Maurice and his wonderfully fish skilled son for a great day on the water.

How about it Jason, do you feel up to another session at Bellambie?.
You 3 blokes in Maurice's boat and Me Quinnie and his dad in my boat, we could stick together or go our seperate ways and meet up at a certain time to compare notes:Death_To_Above: .
Have a talk with Mourice and we will see if we can get it happening.

Top stuff Maurice. How do you feel about what me and quinnie are talking about.
If we could arrange to do it, you take jason and your son in your boat and I can cater for Quinnie and his dad.
We can stay in convoy or go our seperate ways, I like fishing off colecliff Austinmere etc, there are good spots all the way up from the ramp.

tom, bellambi is in wollingong, its about 50mins from my house, the ramp is ok, it has a metel plate thing, and like everywhere ele it is the conditions depend on the day, it is ok,

Yeah mick...that moie went pretty hard....Tom Its outside of wollongong, northern side I will post up the location when I get around to it. Its a great ramp for smaller boats but it would be difficult to launch any boat there if there's a good swell running!

Tom. As has been said the ramp at Bellambie is ok.
On the day. It is in a small bay sort of ocean access with a small breakwall protecting the actual ramp but it still suffers with surge. 3lane at high tide It is very sandy at lowish tide and if a decent swell is on it is hard sometimes for me to drive the boat on the trailer, so I have to chicken out and winch the thing on. Mostly though it's a drive on/off thing.It has a decent wooden pontoon for loading gear and passengers. There is plenty of parking and the coast guard have a office there, so cars and trailers are safe, during daylight hours. Has good cleaning tables and wash down taps for boats. Never been there after dark so dont know what it's like then.

I will give you a warning, I don't have any seats in the boat, if you want to sit down you will have to sit on a esky or the side of the boat.
I don't like seats in boats they get in the way and take up room.
It's a pure fishing boat not a cruiser.
She has one of these on her bum..

Looking good there frank...I just cooked up the fish caught and the family is now full.....my son Mason stuffed himself with Mowie and he usually turns his nose up at fish....Cooked all wrapped in alfoil with butter, garlic, fresh herbs and a little salt with fresh veg as a side.....Yummy!:ohhh yeah:
