Jusr throught i start a thread up to see what everyones favorite boat ramps around sydney are, mine are....

Neapon River Boat Ramp




Dolans Bay Boat Ramp ( Port Hacking )



And The Boat Ramp At Boat Harbour, Bermagui

but i dont mind berowra either

my favorate is south side ulladulla harbour i dont know why

My favorite is without a doubt quinnies 3rd photo, not so much for the ramp itself but every time I go there I know I am going to enjoy myself.
And the fishing is not bad either.
Other good ramps, Parsley bay, Cooks river, apple tree bay ( although an ankle breaker ) and Bellambie but not for the ramp but for the fishing.

my fav ramps are at the following places

wharf rd ermington 3 lanes & a wharf

charles st putney 2 lanes & a wharf

bayswater st drummoyne 3 lanes

all have plenty of parking

Parsley bay is a good ramp, it is nice and wide so their can be quite a few coming and going at once, not sh*t in the water like logs or car parts etc when putting your boat in, a sandy 5-10m wide area on the side to pull your boat up to, and good (and fairly new I belive) jetty and toliets so you can bear all with some paper still stuck to your a*se, sorry guys personal joke... Wayneo will know what I mean..... :rolling laughter:

hey guys just wondering if you know any good boat ramps around sydney harbour which also have a secure parking for cars. i just recently joined st george motor boat club cause the ute would be safe to leave there, is there any ohter close to the harbour i dont mind paying membership or a ramp fee.

there is one on the georges, the club is called deepwater, they have a ramp there and it has secure parking by memories, you should go and see it and see if it secure packing, :congrats:

there one in yarra bay too, think it secure parking , i look it up for you and get some infor on these ramps and more with secure parking , :wiink:

Hey mate i know the one your talking about nah its a pretty quiet area...plus i can get to the georges form st george motor boat club.. i was after a ramp around sydney harbour or close by which is secure or safe for parking....

Mick, try the ramp near the container terminal at botany bay....Theres regular police/security patrols there and with the terminal right next to the car park you have constant lighting and security patrols cruising by within the fence line every 10-15mins....Anyone had any troubles there????
