Hey Joe
Glad to see you found the site. Kris has done a heap of work on it lately and is set to take off with people like yourself spreading the word.
As Kris has mentioned the discussions are public, open and opions can tastefully be expressed.
I hope you enjoy yourself on the new forum as you watch it grow.
Kris well done! The new forum is great and I am sure it will be a great success.
All the best
Peter
If they were chewing in the morning they definately were not on the chew in the arvo, only picked up a salmon and a few flathead!!! Not nearly as fun compared to the kingies pulled the day before, oh well, cant wait for the weather to clear up for some after work outings

Even though the flathead dont pull that hard the sambo must of bought a smile to your dial.
I think you did well to get out there this morning, it was blowing pretty hard up here at Pittwater.

hey Don,good to briefly meet you on the Nepean on Sunday, well done to you and Mark you certainly hit the right section for decent fish!
Chris
Hey Don.
Mr Antenna, it's starting to look that way isn't it... what's the saying about rats deserting a sinking ship...?

This is how you show pictures/photo's.
You have to use the buttons up above the "writing area" when posting to set it up.
i.e. To link up to an image on the internet to display it in the forum:
- Right click on the image, go to "Properties" and then highlight and copy the "Address (URL)" in Internet Explorer, or "Location" if using Firefox.
- Back in here press the button up top that has "Img" on it (see picture above). That will give you this tag
Paste in the URL behind the image tag like this
[img]http://www.etc.com/image/imagename.jpg
- Close the image URL by clicking on the "Img" button again. It will add the closing tag
So basically click the button to put the tags around the URL of the picture and your off.

Hi george,
Avatar is in profile settings at the bottom, needs to be 80 by 80 pixels and less then 6 k(very small)
As for posting a photo , sorry tried, couldn't do it, will keep trying.

Hey Werris and Fishrunner, how'd you do that???
Bluecod,
I edited the above post to explain how to post pictures. The picture must be on the internet somewhere though, like on another page somewhere etc.
You cannot use this method to link to pictures on your own computer.
If people have pictures they want to link up to I have some webspace to upload them to so they can be linked to in here. Just message me and I'll give you my email address.
If no one's noticed I'm a bit of a nerd...

Joe,
The prodigal son. Wondered what happened I missed a few days on another site and then it appeared half the people I enjoyed talking to and reading reports from dissapeared.
Thanks for the not so subtle invite.
Cheers

Thanks Werris - we'll probably use your free space up too quickly - how do you go about getting onto a host site? is there a cost involved [I've a Scottish heritage]?
Surely there's an easier way than uploading images to another website before they can be displayed here?
That is the system that another fishing site had until all the other sites blocked them from using their bandwidth.
G'day all
i'm thinking of signing up with this forum but i'm worried that without mods or site rules that i will get hammered when i post about the 1 mtr lizards i catch and keep. :P
Well well well,
This is where everyones hiding hey? The site looks the goods !! Lets make it happen
Chris
Absolutely. Green pastures here. The culture this forum will develop is pretty well up to us as the first members.
No tyranical dictators here either by the look of it . . . well other than Joe!!

You are on the money Matt,
I say we have a worming day (beach worm gathering not combantrum tablets) and have Daryl show us how to pull those anacondas out of the sand. With a bag limit of 20 of those suckers you could fish for a week.
G'day guys,
I've been missing Darryl Joe even Swoffa for christs sake :)

Gday Gents!!
Site looks great apart from Iain being here........He makes the site look untidy.
Cheers too all!!
Jimbo
I think matt has a bloody good idea about the worming.. id love to give it a go, been meaning to.... Name the time and place and ill be there... :)
An SFF worming day? Sounds good to me. We're not going away this January so it should be easy enough to organise. There could be a bit of holiday pressure on the beasties though. You really do need to find a good patch so that you can have plenty of practice. Going to be hard to miss the holiday crowd but still worth a go.
I'll check the tides & confirm availability with the Social Secretary (insert missus with rolling pin smilie here) then put up a post.
Cheers, Darryl
Im here also!....this web grapevine is getting larger & larger & word spreads even quicker these days...
