i'm heading north in feb...are ther any dont miss spots i should check out on the way back from sydney to melbourne (on the coast).......i've really only fished in melbourne and wilsons prom, bright, hacqua, etc
can someone lend us a hand hand in cutting down my research time and reccommend some good fishing????
there has got to be someone out there who has fished the south coast of NSW
Gday Nige;
Anywhere on the South Coast is good..
Here are a few spots id HIGHLY reccommend;
1}Ulladulla
2} Bermigui
3}Narooma
4}Eden..
If ya out in a boat,,BEWARE of the Narooma Bar
Great Blue water fishing..

Racecourse Beach at Ulladulla fishes well for Whiting, Bream, plus Jewies (at night.)
Horseshoe bay out the front of Dolphin Point (Burrill Lake) has some great spots for Drummer. Take the first left after crossing the Burril Lake bridge, (travelling South) and follow the road out to Dolphin Point. You will come to a grassy area on your left with treated pine fencing. Keep going untill you can drive onto the grass where you will see a path going down to the water. There is a large flat rock shelf there, fish the washes using soaked bread for burley. Peeled blue tailed prawns are best (or Bread) fished with the smallest ball sinker that the conditions will allow straight onto the main line. No trace.
The island at the front of Lake Tabourie (easy to walk to at low tide) also fishes well with Snapper and Bream out the front of the island and good surf fishing on the beach to the North of the island. That beach also has beach worms.
Good Luck, let us know how you go via posts with piccies.
