I was thinking of heading up and having a fish here in the coming weeks once I have my new rod. Just wondering what peoples experience of this area is, how safe etc?

Most of my fishing has been done from piers and am trying to get into something a bit more exciting.

thanks. :munky:

A little more info.

I have just got a new Starlo Stix Shorespin H, I will be using an old 6000 reel that I have until I decide on a new reel. I will be doing a bit of rock and beach using bait. Not too fussed about which fish I catch, but if I can eat it then so much the better. Although I would love to catch a nice jew.

cheers
