Had to try a few spots B4 we found any fish & ended up spining the oyster leases @ towra.
Sneaky Secret Spot which always produces
The others spots WELL not so good & need a month or 2 for the fish to arrive back there

Yeah the flatties are really on at the moment. My mate went back down to the hawkesbury again today and cuaght a similar bag to yours. Well done!!! The the plastics are deadly on the trusty old flattie.

Well I was up the Nepean yesterday not really my scene [fresh water ] we g got 4 bass nothing special around the 250 cm mark but I froze & got crook.
And it reminded me why I wont go Bass Fishing for another couple of years
The flatones have been very quite in the bay last couple of months & mostly under 30 cm's.
Mind you I only spin for them & only target them if all else is quiet but they've saved the day on may occasions.
This lot came out from 1 meter of water & dont they go when the water is shallow unlike in the deeper water.

I totally agree with you, although not on the Bass fishing! My mate was chasing schools of Sambo's but couldnt find any so resorted to the good old flattie.
We did the same when we couldnt find any Ep's last weekend.
And fight, the hardest fight i have ever won with a fish was a monster flattie.
I caught her on ultra Light line while targeting plate size bream in a very shallow sandy bay at crosslands ck. The fight lasted just under ten minutes with her gaining up to 70m mtrs of line on me. I got her and released her though. I'll try get a pic up here for ya mate.
Well done on the flatties once again and keep the lures flying:red party:

There were quite a few EP's in the Shoalhaven a little while back.
I'm only new to the whole SP thingy but fair pretty well caught most common species on them & can always rely on the flatones.
More interested in landing a Jew on plastic dropped one a couple of months back & haven't really fished since then.
