oright boys im on the hunt for a jewfish landbased i know some good spots but i wanna try another any suggestions ...

Mike have u tried the bridges? the Spit,Gladesville&Harbour are all worth a go!:beerchug: :hellyeah:

The spit bridge? where abouts do you fish thought under the bridge? theres plenty of tailor there

A mate of mine called me about the same thing only 5 min before i jumped on the site here. I sugested the bridges also but he told me he has been hitting them for ther last 3 night with no luck.
Hehas decided that it may be worth having as crack off the beaches for a change. I will let you know how it goes.:dolphin:

oh ok thanks "anyluck" never tried beach fishing do you have a good chance catching a jewy of a beach? if so maybe i will hit it to a beach see how it goes

Just letting you know that my mate ended up at Blues Point on Thursday night and scored himself several small Jewies.

blue's point..not bad i wouldnt mind several small jewiess that will so und like a good fishing trip to me hahaha wat bait was he using and..were the gutters low tide gutters or high tide gutters im not sure wat im talkin about but yer

sorri is blue's point a beach or rocks because i searched it on google earth and it ended up looking like a point in the bay

I caught one this time last year from the side of Fig Tree Bridge at Lane Cove. Caught on rising high tide, full moon, dusk. Very lightly weighted pilchard cube that drifted through the channel.
