The salmon are very spooky and the clowns:alcho: driving thru the middle of the schools dont help:ranting2:
Got 5 this morning off Manly (outside) before being blown off the water. I doubt they will be around long:drown:

Yep clowns are everywhere always have been thats why I'm not a fan of fishing weekends mind you you still get the clowns during the week.
Maybe someone should write a book on how to approach such schools & nail the guide to the clowns foreheads.
Only the clueless will troll @ or through the schools much better results pulling up upwind of them & lurecast @ them baitfish will take refuge under the boat hence the schools will stick around alot longer you can always see them on the souder & gauge the depth to allow lure to sink to.
I doubt they will be around long

Mid january they are always around in big no's I find them a real pain in the arse when fishing for reds.
I fish floaters & those bloody salmon keep ripped off the baits when that happens it's time to move.
but yeah after xmas they're around in big schools
