Upper Hawkesbuy / Nepean Bass

Had a ripper session yesterday at windsor on the bass. bugger all until the tide slowed down then i pulled out the jackalls and had 15 fish in 30 mins all at the windsor bridge. Also got a flattie on the jackalls, what wont they catch??? the trick was sink and slow jerks. That spot is an awesome spot to refine technique on a lure the best fish went 385 to the fork.

Speaking of the Nepean.....I just came back from Camberra, and the Nepean seems to be running hard and dark. Does this effect the fishing down your way? And if so, how so?

It seems to the fish two weeks ago were up, fat and feeding in the weedbeds now it seems they are down deep in the main current or holding up in the deeper holes. Many of the fish now are slimmer more silvery fish returning from the salt

yeah in the morning I try to get out each evening rain hail or shine, 3 sessions in 2 days. life is tough when the water is sooo full of fish
