headed down to manly whalf this morning because my mate was to sick to get the boat out (i think he is just lazy). started burleying up with some bread when i got there and straight away had a big school of mullet and a couple of nice sized bream hanging around. i put out a unweighted piece of pealed prawn to try for one of the bream but it was untouched, the bream were just swimming past it, so i tried throwing some SP's i went through every SP i had weighted, unweighted and still no luck so i tried some HB's and these bream wouldnt take anything (the bloke next to me was having the same problem. finally got sick of it and tryed for some mullet for fresh bait with the no success, finally decided to head round the other side and burleyed up again, first bait in the water was grab by a bream (i think) which took off under the whalf and then dropped the hook, had much the same luck for a bit just loosing bait after bait then finally pulled in one bream at 29cm closesly followed by 2 more at 31cm and 28cm, the rest of the day produced nothing but at least i had some dinner. as i was gutting the fish they were full of prawn and bread after feasting on my burley and baits.
here is the 29cm one.
