Has anyone been hitting any channel markers in the harbour or hered of any reports of kings in around the harbour channel markers?i know it is still quite cold but i would think that they could be holding further upstream..i wanna get out there 2 mora but havent hered of any reports
Kings are around but not at the markers in numbers...Markers will startm to fire around summer.....This time of year the wrecks will fish better then markers
bloke i work with who is a plastic guru has hooked and landed some monster upstream towards balmain and burkenhead point, there are defintly some round..

yeah thats what i was thinkin..round the bridge area.ill c how i go this weather is getting worse by the minute

yes there are kings throghout the harbour.main harbour too.use freshly caught squid.they are spread out.some big ones to be landed.:headbang: use heavy gear or else.

There's some very dirty low salinity water around the harbour.Fish deep areas near the heads

there were a couple of small kings around the spit bridge last night but the werent taking baits or lures
picked up a small king on plasic on sat morn.
It was barley bigger than he plastic i got him on:rolling laughter: :rolleyes:

Did that Kingy step out for a smoke and you scooped him up - or is that your smoke? I have seen the fish you catch, and can vouch it is your PB.:rolling laughter:

Looks to me more like a rainbow runner, caught off syd yeah?

Na it's a king was overcast stormy that day just the way the light reflects if not mistaken it was the day of the of the water sprouts.
Have caught rainbow runners in the past though alot bigger than that little fellow
