This post was erased,but instead of copping it sweet from a "mod"who dislikes me,i dug in my heels and offered to repeat the post verbatim and let others judge Iain's hasty decision.his reaction was to tell me i was banned "4 ever" and to"f%ck off old man" ,he also accused me of "being on drugs" etc but what really got up his nose was that i was right! Tue really was hot

i got banned from fr cos a mod had a photo of a flattie he caught annd said he let it go...but the photo was taken at his letter box....so i questioned how it was let go cos the fish looked dead and was out his front yard....i was banned....:2gunsfiring_v1:

then sydney dangler banned me coz 2 members were going at it via pm......one was a mate of mine and forwarded the whole convo to me and coz i had it in my pms i got banned to........:ranting2:

Fella's its pretty sad when we continue to get posts on an issue that is well over and done with.

This is a great site, yes it will have some hiccups from time to time and moderators will not always get it right but "get over it"

I joined to enjoy the camaraderie that shines through the majority of the threads/posts where people share their experiences with others. After too many decades to mention I thought that I knew how to fish but have picked up some great tips from people like Mulloway, Stef,DJ and others and hopefully passed on some of my knowledge.

If you want to get your priorities right have a look at the pictures of a river at sunset posted by DJ in his Broken Bay post. That's what life is all about!

OK point made fellas:nopity: , this site is not here so people can whinge, bitch or slander about others or other sites.
Keep it balanced and be smart enough to virtually moderate your own posts. ( & yep i've been banned from & had heated runins with others mods).
Understanding it from our point of view: moderators don't always know who you are as the internet is very impersonal & nearly impossable to gauge a persons character unless you have been with a site for a while & mods are used to your style of writing.

So just rember what this site is for. Fishing info & assistance along with the occasional joke at a mates expence:lol: & if you dissagree by all means voice your opinions on inhouse topics BUT we don't need all the BS that seems to frequent other sites creeping onto our pages, but like I said moderate your own post that way we (Admin & Mods) cant take offence or have to deal with a member sending us all a PM whinging about another members abusive or unwarrented post. Believe me we couldn't bothered puting out fires all the time & moderating, we like to read them as well & loose the time to do so, fixing sh1t posts.

Most who have been here for a while know it's probably 1 of the most free flowing sites you guys visit, reason for that is we want you to have your say & you fella's normally post informatively & do a great job, so just take care with the wordings & if it looks wrong when ya post it, edit it & saves us doing it & all's good.

There is no need for a thread like this one and in all honestly it is in very bad taste, Im an active member of every fishing site based in sydney and putting down there mods and calling them drunks is not acceptable behavior.

Kingyfisher I have always had trouble understand your posts on the other site and going by this thread im gonna have just as much trouble here, most of the time you dont make any sense and your posts are just jibberish.......

recently there have been rumours that you can get very verbal at sydney wharves and have verballing attacked a few people, including a woman.......if these rumours are true you need to learn that you dont own the wharves and ledges around sydney and they are there for everybody to enjoy.....

I even recall once about 18 months ago....i was on my boat tied up at the wharf at clifton gardens and i dropped a box of hooks into the water whilst i was walking on the wharf....they were drifting away and i saw you and asked you if i could use your net to grab them........You said NO.........and then compared me using your net to grab a floating box of hooks to me lending your rod to go fishing....im sure you remember the incident...I realised there and then that community spirit was the last thing on your mind....

I suggest you change your attitude and stop putting down other people and look at yourself, i have since told the story of the guy with the net to many people and all people agree.....Only a #@$#%#$ would do that....
