Downrigged with a about 8 good Yakkas and we DRd everywhere

All the markers, Shark Island, Bantry Bay, Middle Harbour and where has the yellow marker near Quarantine gone it was not there

Sorry mate did not hook up the Lowrance and ran with the old Eagle just for the depth

Should have thought of that and not been lazy

ps fireman you really need squid if not catch somke bonnies and down rig them off north head, yellow tail will catch the occasional rat or hoodlum but not very consistent

Fireman, James is 100% right about the squid, forget the yakkas and go the squid...your hit rate will improve considerably

Mate I'm not a big fan of those Kingfush

But I will say I hane no probs hooking them on SP's whilst spining for other species basta*ds take the lure then reef me only using 3 kg line.

Since you'tr gonna be sitting there waiting for those annoying kingfish to take your live bait.

Take a spinstick along go light with jighead let Sp just hover with little twirch's it will keep you amused & always a very good chance of a king or any other fish which may be interested

ive seen a few kings cruising around manly whalf lately but they dont seem to hungry as there is plently of yakkas and squid around and they just swim past. ill hopefully be out on the harbour after some this weekend

I see them quite often just cruind the baitfish schools not really in a eating moods they will follow in a hooked fish then turn around & disappear.

Did hear there were some thumpers out there during the week guys couldn't stop on 37 kg outfits
