its a bit of a weird cup this yr with all the nsw horses not in it this yr....

every year on cup day i study the form guide and then put a bet on every race in melbourne
i back one for win and
one for box trifecta only small bets 10 bucks for win 1 buck for trifecta
and then i listen all day at work ...........................its the only day i bet

one day im going to win heaps and put it on the cup :scull: :eeek: :beerchug:

it really does not feel like CUP WEEK, i guess because of the horse sniffles EI.

The best results i have had on the cup is even when i have not put a bet on due to being busy at work or overseas. Though i love a punt. I dare say its UN-AUSTRALIAN not to put a bet on. one tosser i worked with got the trifecter two years in a row on mysteries.

AS for the winner i love an outside.

Yeah weird year all right.
thinking of backing Zipping after the Mckinnon run, but Bart the champion seems to have a hot chance again. Have to see what the rain does.... Dunno bout the imports this year either. The local talent this year aint as good as normal so the imports might hacve a better shot.
