any one tried salt pan creek. might go ther on sat or sunday jus wonderin wat to use eg. sp's prawns floats or sinks. if any1 could tell me that would be much apreciated. also is litlle salt pan creek or salt pan creek?

I take it you mean Salt Pan Ck that runs of the Georges. There is another Salt Pan Ck at Cammeray.:rolleyes:
It's pretty shallow there, so I would be suprised if you would need a float. Try using some SP's and flicking them over some of the deeper water that you can access. If you're wading, make sure you wear something strong as it would be easy to cut your feet on buried shells. And be prepared to sink a fair way into soft mud.:confused:

isnt there any places that u can stand on wihtout sinking?
On Henry Lawson at the end of River Rd there is a park there, you drive in, this is a good fishing spot right at the end of the drive, around the point you can comfortably fish off the shore and have seen many a fish pulled from there.
