:sunny: wats goin on with esturine perch. does any one fish for them, and would any one like 2 get involved. there like bass, taken on lure and live bait.in saline rivers conecting to the main system.

I've caught them in the last few months in that spot we fish that is really muddy at the moment tree boy. Why the sudden interest?? Here is a couple

i have been getting them more in the channels, but sum days there on the move or just not interested, end up with bream

find em with ya sounder. if they dont bite, pester them with a double drop shot rig, with 2" curl tails, as soon as they start biting you can change to a single rig & they will continue for ages. if still not biteing wait till the tide changes.
sometimes they may be mullet or salt water catties, if they are EP's they will bite when the tide changes.
off the front of fallen trees is a good bet in say 10-25foot of water.
The 50cm + jobbies are around a bit more in winter "a long way" down stream.
