Gday everyone..

Just want to let you ALL know that i will not be posting for a few weeks and i certainly am "NOT" out for sympathy,,just as a friend,,want to let you all know where i will be..

I have a Brain Tumour and i am going into Royal Prince Alfred Hospital {RPA} FOR POSSIBLY 2 WEEKS AS I WILL BE HAVING IT REMOVED on Monday 26th Nov..

I am so sorry i havent been posting or reading any threads here for a little while,as i have had to go to doctors here in Nowra,,plus travel back & forth to RPA in the last few weeks,,,didnt know if i was Arthur or Marthur,,matter of speach,,,i am so glad its comming to an end finally..

IF i dont get back here before xmas,,i would like to wish each & everyone a safe & Merry Xmas..

Plz keep all your lines tight & wet,plus be safe on the water..

I be here till Sunday night..

Hi Craig. Terrible news and I hope you make a speedy and healthy recovery. I had a friend that had a brain tumour. She was sitting up the next day after 7 1/2 hrs surgery reading the paper. Wishing you all the best and will see you on the boards again soon.

Craig. Mate I am so sorry to hear such news. It is times like this that
I am left speechless, and mere written words can never express feelings.
I sincerely hope that all goes well for you and that you come out of it
feeling 100 %.
We have top notch doctors in Australia, and in one way if something like this has to happen then thank god it has happened to you here.
I can not help financially and I am restricted to what help I could be psyically but if there is anything I can possible do to give you any support, don't hessitate in saying so.
Get well quick and get yourself back on these boards whenever you feel you have the strength to do so.

My heart goes out to you mate. We have all been affected by cancer , be it a friend, family member, or ourselves. I hope from the bottom of my heart that you have a very successful surgery and your out fishing again by christmas. I'll ask my Mum to put in a few words to the big fella at church on sunday if thats alright by you?

sorry to hear that. Wish you a speedy recovery - and a word of advice - do take it easy after the op, the general really knocks you around more than you realise. I spent a week in intensive care earlier this year and know all about it.

Not very good @ all & I'll even refraim from chucking in a few brain jokes.

On a brighter note RPA is one of the better hospitals in the state & believe me there are some woefull ones about & I'm pretty sure you'll get well looked after there.

Hey shags all the best mate. Yes RPA is a great hospital and the doctors are fantastic. A mate of mine had a brain tumour and had it removed at that hospital and now a year later his been better than ever.. Wishing you all the best and will be waiting to see you back online...mate you will be back on here before you know it so so i will wish you a merry Christmas then ...

p.s take heaps of fishing mags with you...

CraIG...I dunno if you will get this msg but buddy my thoughts are with you mate...Went through a similar thing myself a couple of years ago and now have very regular check-ups with my specialist.....Looking forward to your speedy recovery and some top reports from down south mate!
