Just to those that fish the Hawkesbury, maybe Pete Le Blang may know or Joyse' himself. Does anyone know of a place called Daddy's Corner? It is not the official name, just a name locals use, it is i believe near Spencer somewhere. Kris maybe you can find out for me.
Any help from anyone will be appreciated.

Thanks for that, i have been told by a friend about it 30min ago. He says the term Daddy's Corner refers to a hole, and that it is somewhere near Spencer, with a white Cross Painted on Sandstone Rocks? Apparently a Pro Fisho, dided there 15 yrs ago.

G'day Kamil
"Dads Corner" is about, depending on your boat, 15 or so minutes upstream from Del Rio Resort, Webbs Creek.
It's not hard to miss as there are the words "Dads Corner" painted on the rock face.
The spot is on a sharp dog leg in the river and the water is quite deep and eddies quite alot.
If you have a waterways map or similar it is also noted/named as been "Dads Corner".
Also, if you have seen John Bethune and Dean Hayes' Bass and EP dvd, whilst they are narrating (sp) in front of the camera, their boat slowly swings around and you can see the words Dads Corner behind them.
Hope this helps.
cheers

Indeed. It's called Dad's Corner.
About Midway between Wisemans Ferry and the Colo River.
If heading upstream (towards Colo) it's on a left hand dog leg, with Dads Corner painted in large letters on the rock wall on your right. If looking for it, you won't miss it.
It drops almost straight off between a sand bank (on the corner) and the rock wall. I think it goes down to about 19m.
Full of eddies and little mini currents, it's a known jewie spot (for rare but big ones). It's also popular among the bass boys for Bass and EP's.
A truckload of eels also call it home.
Good surface action there early on.

Its as Hooky says, the area is Leets Vale. And it produces good hauls of bream flathead perch bass and jew. Live prawns are best.
