Hawksbury/Broken bay Fisin report 12th march

Location : Broken bay/ Hawkesbury river [Drifted btween Lion Island n Box head, Rail bridge, Flint n Steel]

Time/date : 11am Sat 11th - 1pm Sunday 12th

Fish Caught : Chopper tailor [released], 2 Bream [27cm], 6 Flathead [40cm], leatherjacket [28cm],juvenile snapper [released], some eel looking creature

Bait/lures: Pillies.../halco twisties 15g/raiders 20g/ Hawkesbury prawns/Fresh yellowtail n live

Method : boat

Weather: Saturday was ok abit choppy moderate winds. Sunday morning was beautyful no winds or very light winds little swell SUnYY!!! winds did pik up in at nooon n waters choppy too.

Tried an overnite stay for jewie at the rail brigde but all we got was this eel lookin creature[very freaky]!!!. Small tailor surfacing on sunday morning did not see any other surface action in broken bay :-(

Maybe not, but anyway, I caught 3 of these buggers yesterday in North Harbour, and 2 a couple of weeks ago. They are freaky indeed.

hahahah oh i see now pike eel aye, well they are slimey n very disgusting. Had many hits n runs from them lost many rigs due to them eels biting through the 40lb trace meant for jewie.
