Hi fellas,

dont know what it is, but no matter how hard I prepare and how much time I put into it. I always seem to get a hell of a better result in sydney harbour. For all my efforts, In Pittwater its always a let down. I catch the squid, I downrigg, try numerous area's , but nothing. In the harbour, I seem yo be able to get kingies at will.

Anyway I am not making any statment, just want to know if any here find it the same as I do, or perhaps completely the opposite? I would be intrested in hearing other peoples opinions.

cheers

Sydney Harbour is fishing better because the pro's are out, and because there is more cover for bait fish, in turns bring more predators.

Kamil, I don't think it's an issue of just the Pros being out. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that Sydney Harbour is known area. It get's fished by a lot more people, therefore the knowledge base is shared around a lot more.

I fished in Pittwater a lot about a year ago, but found myself reverting back to Sydney more often. I guess it's where I feel more comfortable and confident!

the biggest factor is that the whole Broken Bay system is absoloutely massive. Tides play a huge role and the only people that consistently get fish in the system are those that fish it hard and take notes etc.... The place is huge, there are plenty of places where the fish can be.... and biting!
