Still trying to catch my first jewy

Lost a beauty a couple of weekends ago offa dy beach,my f^%@#* mate was too slow trying to grab it in the surf and the line snapped,could'nt believe it after what seemed an eternity.

Had another go last night used pilchards (got snapped off) tried again but the current was a bit strong and kept loosing baits so turned to whole squid and got a couple of really good size snapper lost a few as well.

Try a butterflied tailor, they hold up well, and a well tuned drag, I might even come try with you
