It'll be good to share some news on the going ons in the area,Like i mentioned in my last post ive had some good runs fishing dy beach at night.Tried fishing north curly a few weeks ago with a couple of mates but we got nothing my mate got 2 good flaty's.

Hey mate,

From the Northern Beaches myself actually.
Had a crack of Freshy Beach not so long ago and got jack all!
Was trying for some whiting in the gutters on live worms, but alas, no go!

Sounds like fun on DY? How'd you go?

I've considered throwing a line in round from the point there, but never got around to it.

Also fished down near the spit (land based) a month a go and caught a nice few just legal whiting, and a few small throw back tailor, few small snappers.

Good fun, but no keepers.

Alas some1 from the northern beaches,G'day honky!!

Been fishing dy mostly friday nights,dropped a good jewy,got a couple of stud bream and some good snapper last friday night but the jewy was a couple of weekends before that,got a nice bronze too.

Tried to fish north curly it was crap for me not a touch but my mate who was fishing a couplf of yards further down got a couple of really good flatys(prik)

Going to fish the harbour this friday night,ive got a good feeling about this 1.Going to fish at a mates favourite/secret spot where he's been getting smashed.Ill try my luck......

Ive been told that D/Y beach is going off with the jew/fish,according to my mate at the local tackle store.
But no im not from the northern side,my mate lives and fishes around there

Hey Guys.Im from Curl Curl.I normally fish South Curly for salmon and adventure to the nth end for a jew night or day fish for whiting.Would like to catch up for a fish some time.

Lads,

Flat out all day didn't see the emails till late. Keen for a fish with some new fellas at some stage.

I'm off to catch livies (mullet) during the day tomorrow probably Lane Cove river???, then fishing the night. Sounds like northern beaches after early discussions here.

If possible let me know how you went tonight, so i can plan my assault tomorrow night.

G'day gongfishing last night was crap at dee why,I could'nt believe it when i got down there the swell was huge but i gave it a go anywayz.

There were a couple of other's there(any from here) we all fished from the wall near the rocks its the only place to get a bait in.

My mate got a couple of monster bream and so did the fella next to me but other than that we had heaps of pickers.

Not what im accustomed to down there.

Going out with pete 6/5 (calmwater charters)should be good he promised me a big jew.

Unlucky last night mate. I'm hoping the swell has died down a bit after the low pressure system moves on from last night etc.

I'm in two minds whether to fish the beach or the harbour..... have to wait and see how the weather pans out.

Heading to north curly now by where the lagoon should run out.Ive got some live mullet if any one keen.Come and say hello.Till prob about mid night.Bring on th e fish .Just hope waves have settled.
