Did ok , threw back a fish i should had of weighed in on the first day, I was thinking ABT rules!!!!!!!!
Got plenty of fish on the sunday, until I lost all of my shallow chubby's, put a hex on myself when I said that I would be stuffed if I lost them!!!!!!!
I think Lee and I caught 18 fish or so on Sunday between us, none of the monters we wanted but a healthy bag anyway, its nice to get to a place you havent fished and work out what to do.
It was a bit of bad luck about the Snapwick Lee, told you youshould had of bought a GLoomis!
Yeah but the stick was a great stick when you factor in what I paid for it.
Might get Gerg to wack me up a new stick with all the gear off the snapped rod. Still thinking about what to do.
Cheers

Hi Guys,
I am heading up there next on business, someone keeps hooking the boat on the back of the car when I go away working.
Have only fished there 3 times, big lake, hope it doesn't get too windy. Any ideas on where I should target.

what do you mean the locals went all right............... i fish here just about every weekend as i am a local and i went crap............29 th to be exact... only caught 3 legal fish each day
but it's all good as i am now still 5th overall in the state and it means i dont have to rotate in the sydney round, just hope i catch some better fish this time

Brownie, it was a new place to me last weekend, butwe found thefish in the shallow weedbeds near swansea, use reasonably heavy shallow lures like a chubby and belt them out as far as you possibly can, most of the fish were hooked within 2 or 3 cranks on the longest casts, they spook easily so distance is the key, it gets easier as the wind picks up, the fish cant see you and thewind assiststhe casts. Good luck
