Hey Guys,

I have been back from cairns for a few weeks now... and am still waiting for Pukunui to send me some of the pics of the fish i caught up there....
I am sure he will do one on his fish too....
But for now, as i am stinging to show you guys what a trevallie from the tropics looks like ....

I tell ya what, great eating.... and bigger fight then a kingy for sure....

anyways... here is a couple of pics of it....

and my Cobia. (We actually had a double hookup on cobes but hamu's was dropped at the boat).


The cobia and the nannygai tasted awesome (and the trev hamu kept from the other day he went out).
Knocked some fillets off the nanny's and cut the cobe into steaks.
Then cooked them up on the BBQ next to the pool back at the resort.
(That is the life)
got sick of eating fish 6 days later, but at least we saved money on food.:headbang:

Awesome trip, great fishing, great snorkelling.
If it wasnt for the heat i would want to move up there for good.

they do river estury and deep..... call them direct as well, dont go through a booking agent and you will save like 20 buks...

Oh, it was unbelieveable... i think the only charter i have done that was this good, was from Russel.. in the bay of islands NZ... was snapper fishing and they were all huge and constant... we brought back snapper for the whole town basically hehehe, well the old aged home anyway....
But yeah best i have been on in australia.... I have been on plenty of great sydney ones, dont get me wrong.. but sydney just doesnt have the fish that they have other places...

Almost forgot my girls shark.... she got all by herself.. it bit the deckie.. u cansee his blood hehehehe..
