View Full Version : Bris Waters
Hi all, I,m new at bthis fishin but I,m hooked!!!! Trouble is a lot of you guys seem to have all the gear and I,m just a strugli dad. Anyhow just spent 5 days at Umina and hit mainly landbased around Woy Woy but also had access to a tinnie afew time. Our total (my daughter & me) was 2 flounder, 1 whiting(42 cm), 1 leatherjacket, 9 flatties - all were above legal and i wish I could afford a camera for some pics. Anyway just wanted to post one from Bris Waters. There are plenty in there as we must have thrown back 30 and that was only from paddys and woywoy channels and not travelling past the Rip. Anyone else had any luck on the Central Coast????
Awesome work friend, my mate has been getting good fish up at Ettalong and Half Tide Rocks, Pearl Beach off the rocks is a top spot too. Great chance of a Jew on the run out tide. I love the water in Brisbane Waters, so clear and tropical like, some odds and ends have been caught in there, like Milkfish! And some other trpoical species too!
Oh and Welcome to the site, hope you enjoy it here.

I've got to agree with that imnotafish chappy all the gear in the world wont catch you fish if you dont put in a bit of effort.
And I'll bet my short & curlies for every one good report you've read that same person went alot of trips fishless.
Sounds like your kiddies had a good time & caught a few fishy's to boot nothing wrong with that.
Well done
