Took a few boys out around the joey on the weekend to chase some kings,nice sunny day,plenty of live slimeys and yaks,and the pommy that came along brought the smallest most unfresh squid you've ever seen,and to top it off a bag of bananas,any way we anchor up and i proceed to rig them up for the insuing battle ahead,and battle they did,two absolute novices hooking into 62 - 64cm rats and loving it,old mono even older reels,no drag set,just sculling them in,they were loving every minute of it,and theres me livey on the drag set all ready to go,studied up on kings the do's and don'ts all my past king experiences,and you know what not a touch!!!! the boys had a ball and me well just lucky i guess !:violent1:

Good read Lovett, sometimes the Kings will just take anything, i found the smaller ones can be burleyed up and take anything that floats out the back of the boat!
