I just got back from 6 days down at Nth Durras. ( between batemans bay and kiola.) Had a awesome time, caught heaps of flathead out of the lake one i caught 52cm on a chunk of bread. The boys who had been going there for 30 years could not believe it. But most on poddy mullet and due to a couple of overcast nights netted heaps of prawns in the lake mouth and got 6 mud crabs in the mangroves. You could say i ate well. Durras is a great spot to camp or cabin for those who want a trip away we stayed at joalah caravan park. Its right on the lake and beach. Kangaroos everywhere (kangaroo poo everywhere) lol. will losd up the pics tomorro. Took the BC out from barmans bay. OMG is there anywhere that is not marine santuaryed to the s*#t. Did not do that well out off shore. Had a great time. And now im hanging to got to Hamilton Is on the 13th of feb. Start work at the beginning of march. I know a hard life but rather it be me than anyone else. lol.

Lucky ba*&^d :ohhh yeah: I used to love going to Kioloa, Pretty Beach etc. Great place, beautiful scenery and wildlife and not bad for a few fish as well.

Towing the Bonecrusher with a crap kia van takes about 4 1/2- 5 hours easy 4 hours in a car. I was overtaken quite alot. One point heading sth i was sitting on 100km per hour, there was one lane going sth and two lanes heading nth a hilux ute has over taken me and a wanker in a commodore has overtaken the both of us. Probably the stupidest thing i saw. He just got back in time before the on coming traffic came. and another wanker, there was some roadwork delays and a long line of cars traveling at 50kmph all close together some phuck stick overtakes about 20cars and barges in. Luck it was not infront of me other wise he would of got rammed. You wonder why there are so many crashes.

But had fun, cant wait for hamo Island.

Hey Coops why don't you tell the mob about your mate filling the boat with fuel via a rod holder?

Mate I am still cracking up after you told me about that.

And how was the Cuban cigar?

:smoking33:

Cheers

Thanks HAJI,

How is this , CC i would prefer you on the boat with a backpack full of sinkers compared to this. One morning down at durras we went to go for a fish. Dropping the boat in at Batemans Bay. On the way we got fuel. Scott the original owner of the boat ( 6 years) now 1/3 share holder starts to fuel it up. He takes off the fuel cap gets the pump and puts it in the boat. I turn around and yell SCOTT STOPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP! freakin idiot put 4 and a 1/2 litres of petrol into the rod holder what a di ck and it shot onto two guys reels that were on the deck of the boat. Never seen such a stupid thing. The Bonecrusher stank of petrol for two days. Oh then he did not put his tackle bag the boat locked up and one roll of mono got loose and as we drove unwound. When we got to the boat ramp i saw it. i pulled in about 100m untill it snapped. probably more out there. Jesus what is it about my boat that brings this about.

BC, 4 and a half litres isnt as bad as what ive heard...
bloke with brand new quinny went to fill it up after he had gone fishing, got to the petrol station and made the same mistake as your mate, but he didnt realise and he was thinking how he had used that much petrol in a short trip because the tank didnt seem to be filling.
Eventualy a person walks up to him and said theres all this white stuff coming out of your boat, he stops filling it up and walks around. Whats happend is the petrol has melted all the foam under the floors...
Poor bugger...

Sounds like you had a great time. Heaps of fish and a few tales to tell.
The feed would have made up for the smell of fuel.

Good luck on the 13th:ohhh yeah:
