:ohhh yeah: Purchased a couple of Mini Pro Buzz Bait lures off e-bay last week...Theyre kinda a cross between a spinner bait and a fizzer....Top little lure for bass-caught a few on the first outing with the new lures....BF you will like em mate, very similar to another lure of this style, call me and we'll have a chat!...
They have a single soft plastic style weighted hook with a skirted rubber lure on it and on the other end of the bar is a triangular prop that really stirs up some water when a fast retrieve is used-Could maybe attach a small treble as a stinger to increase hook up rate.
I got hits between weed beds letting the lure sink vertically and while retrieving fast over shallow beds.
Theyre designed to work the surface but you can play with the retrieve a bit and get them working quite well down to about 150cm....I was working over very heavy weed beds which had a lot of weed above water level and didn't get snagged once and only a couple of times had to remove weed from the hook or blade. They don't mind tree branches and snags and happily move up and over exposed snags-I didn't lose them and usually lose at least 1 or 2 lures per session.
I think they would work well for other species as well in fresh and salt water....just thought I would let you know bout these!
Oh and the price under $10 each-so good value compared to others I'v spent round $15 on!
Anyone else used em???
