LANE COVE

Fished an area near Lane Cove River for number of flathead(C&R..just legal) and a couple of nice sized bream (38CM/37CM) ALL ON BREAD.

Last couple of days have fished the Lane cove River proper for zilch. Not that there were no fish, they were so massive they pulled or snapped 2kg and 4kg line, so will be upgrading line weight.

There are some massive Flatties around Kamadude, could have been you got into a couple of them, or even a jewy or two around lane cove there ...... Try around 12lb - should still be light enough for the Breambos but will give you a better chance at bigger fish....

Usually see Tailor around there too so could have bitten you through?

Alot of baby tailor around there, but they buzz like a vibrator...these were hardcore hits with massive runs and a couple were flathead logs till they got to the surface (as per usual), then they headbang like they are at a cannibal corpse concert.
