Hi All,

I have a good pair of sunnies that has seen better days and needs replacing. Where around sydney would be a good place to get a nice looking and good pair of prescription polarised sunnies.

The idea is that I wear it not only when fishing but pretty much daily ( when it finally decides to be summer here)

Thanks

Jack

I have some I got from optomitrist, polarised glass lense in FISH metal frames, 3yrs old+ and still going strong, go see your local opti & get your perscription, then use your perscription & price to shop around.
Spotters also do perscription ground glasses, but again ring for a price.:luck:

Got my last pair from OPSM..,,...Arnette wrap arounds, real comfy, frames a steal at over 50% off-only $70....Lenses as you would know once you get polarising and tinting and scratch resist coating were over $300....I'v not had any with such a curved lens before and after getting used to them I'm loving them, unlike my old ones which slipped down my nose the new Arnettes when working on roofs or fishing in the summer heat and sweating just stay where theyre sposed to!--

Previous set from budget specs-same price but lower quality....Start with a good set of frames you like and as Greg said shop round on lens prices, I played 3 stores off on each other till OPSM came to the party with a huge discount on the frames.

oh yeah frame is definately important, my current pair is a set of Ray Bans that cost me an arm and a leg and than the lenses. But I got those in Holland

I'll have a look at OPSM

I got my prescription sunnies from Budget (due to knowing someone who worked there). Price was over $300 but after discounts and other stuff payed only $170. Best investment ever as I can't see too far without glasses full stop. Use my for everyday use.

I had laser eye surgery about 2 years ago. At $950 an eye its much cheaper than other places who charge up to $3000 per eye.
Must say it was the best money ive spent, (apart from my fishing gear).
No mucking around with contac lenses, and sitting on my glasses.
Also i can have a quick look at the ladies down the beach instead of staring with squinting eyes at them :hot tail: :yahoo:
