View Full Version : Manly Dam
Had a session down at manly dam on wed arvo for two samll bass and perch. Got snapped off by a larger fish using a purple halco poltergeist that i bought the day b4
Wind then picked up and made casting impossible.
Will keep up more posts.

bad luck about the bigger fish Alex, don't tell Narra or he won't go to school for 8 weeks or so - you'll have to see how the fly rod goes down there

G'day Ken and Welcome aboard.
I think a canoe trip can be organised!
I haven't seen any decent bass at Manly for a long time. I dropped in there a few weeks back for a quick flick and pulled about 8-9 bass with the biggest being about 30cm.
Good stuff Alex.
George/Ken, I'll be there with bells on (well perhaps rattles) if you're planning a trip. Haven't had a go at bass yet.

You're on Dave, All I have to do is get rid of a wrecked car that blocks access to my boats and we'll give it a shot.

Thanks Joe, I'll keep your offer in mind - but first I have to get it insurance assessed - if worse comes to worse I'll drag it onto the roadway with the V8 so I can access the backyard
