I know the emphasis is on the harbour and there are a lot of resident fish there but am i not correct in saying that fish have fins and they dont really stay in the same place at 1 given time right!!

So if i was to catch fish say in dee why that may have come from the harbour and eat it would i be sick or some sort of germ carrier or something.I thought id ask the question cause i luv fishing and eating fish.

Thanx

This is such a lot of crock/media hype its unbelievable.

Until recently Australian standards for safe dioxin levels were ten times what they are now. Then to join the rest of the mob [Europe] Australia adopted the European standards that have been established using the Precautionary Principle [if you don't know use extreme caution].

Because of the change in "standard" what was previously a safe level is now "unsafe". I would be more concerned about mercury and lead content in my blood rather than dioxin, or what about electromagnetic radiation from your mobile phone handset, or being run over by a beer truck on your way to work, or being eaten by a shark when you go for a surf.

At what point do you stop living and isolate yourself from the rest of the world???

I wish the media would adopt the truth for once and use less hype. That wouldnt sell papers though.
Everything you have stated is true. For the unknown use extreme caution.
I wish they would apply the same thinking when it comes to inshore commercial fishing and fish stock numbers.
