Went for a quick flick in the canoe this arv with my mate Pat. Fishing was slow with one little fella for pat and 1 hook up for me dropping him at the boat. Nice arvo to be on the water anyhow.

Judging by the expression on your mates face, I think this photo is a prime candidate for a "speech bubble" guessing what he is thinking about, he looks very concerned....

With Pat juggling a lively Bass and myself wriggling around trying to take photos, I think pat was just trying to stay in the canoe

Na mate we were in the lagoon. The weed is FERAL though if you punch through to the few clear spots the fish congregate there on dusk smashing the surface due to that being the only porthole to the waters surface. Last night was not a good example but past efforts have payed of very well with this technique:icon_smile_wink:

Nice work there mate.

When the water clears up maybe they will start chewing thier heads off.

I remember a few seasons a go that the really really big fish were either on top of or below the rapids in between yarramundi and penrith. they were stacked up pretty thick with heaps of fish around the 40cm mark just sitting at the bottom or the top eating bait all day long.

Cheers
