Botany bay Sunday 30/4

Fished the container wall and just outside. Never fished this area before.
A few slimy's- flathead and squid.
Threw the attatched things back. Are they called flying gurnards?

Used white bait-Squid and prawns.
Nothing outrageous- but a beautiful day out.

Yes they are Gurnards. Shame about not getting anything else. I hear the Bay has been firing of late.

Hi there,

I also fished on Sunday in the bay. I tried one of the breakwaters along the Grand Parade, from about 10am till noon.

Was spinning soft plastics only (my new hobby). Got two tailor early (First two casts!), just under legal, then nothing after that. Both were on Berkely Power minnows, 3" Pink Lemonade.
