very good report there mate .
Maurice. It's a lovely part of the world mate and you would be in with a very good chance of some great fish.
Sometimes the planning for the next days fishing is as good as what it gets, the actual fish caught rarely matches the planning efforts.
Enjoy your time down there, and good luck.

Hi Fishinf
I have just come back from my place at Ulladulla, did not do any fishing but talked to a few mates down there who fish both offshore and beach.
One of them showed me some photos of a 63cm Taylor that he caught of the beach last week, also a pair of Jewies that would have gone 25 Kg each. He is planning to go out for Jewies again over the next two nights being the right time/tide etc.
Not a lot of snapper around from all accounts but the usual Flathead spots offshore are still producing good catches. Try inside Burrill Rocks for a Southerly drift, if no good move out to around 50 - 60m depth (straight out from a point halfway between Lake Tabourie and Burrill Rocks, then move further out to deeper water and do another drift. This is the pattern that I use when I fish for Flats and we usually score pretty well.
Hope you do well, good luck.
Cheers

You do realize that if you line up your fish head to tail on your bragmat it doesn't count as one big one, right? :rolling laughter:
